These General Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products through the Agriturismo Villa Val d’Olivi website. By placing an order, the Customer fully accepts these Terms and Conditions.
The Seller reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. Any changes shall apply only to orders placed after their publication on the website.
2. Subject of the Contract
These Terms govern the distance sale of products marketed through the Seller’s website.
The products are intended for both consumers, as defined by the Italian Consumer Code, and business customers, where compatible with the applicable legislation.
3. Products
The essential characteristics of each product are described in the relevant product pages published on the website.
Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ slightly from the actual products.
Product availability is updated automatically; however, temporary discrepancies may occasionally occur. If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, the Customer will be promptly informed and may choose either a refund or an alternative product.
4. Prices
All prices are expressed in Euros (€) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
Shipping costs are displayed separately before the order is completed.
The Seller reserves the right to change prices at any time. Any price changes shall not affect orders already confirmed.
5. Purchase Procedure
To purchase one or more products, the Customer must:
- select the desired products;
- add them to the shopping cart;
- enter the required information;
- choose a payment method;
- review the order summary;
- accept these General Terms and Conditions of Sale;
- confirm the order.
The order shall be considered concluded upon receipt of the confirmation email sent by the Seller to the email address provided by the Customer.
6. Payment Methods
Payment may be made using the methods available on the website at the time of purchase, including, by way of example:
- Credit Card;
- PayPal;
- Bank Transfer;
- any other payment methods that may be available.
The payment will be processed according to the procedures established by the selected payment provider.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are normally processed within 2–5 business days, unless otherwise specified.
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to the carrier or circumstances beyond the Seller’s control.
Upon delivery, Customers are invited to verify:
- the integrity of the packaging;
- that the delivered products correspond to those ordered.
Any damage or discrepancies should be reported immediately to the carrier by accepting the delivery with reservation or refusing it if the package is visibly damaged.
8. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
All products sold to consumers are covered by the legal guarantee provided for under Articles 128 and following of the Italian Consumer Code.
If a product is defective or non-compliant, the Customer should promptly contact the Seller at:
providing the order number, a description of the defect and, where possible, photographic evidence.
9. Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to Articles 52 and following of the Italian Consumer Code, consumer Customers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from delivery of the products, without providing any reason.
How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal
Customers may exercise their right of withdrawal through the dedicated “Online Withdrawal” feature available on the website.
- If the Customer has an account, they may log in to the “My Account” area, select the relevant order, and follow the guided withdrawal procedure.
- If the Customer placed the order as a guest, they may access the “Online Withdrawal” page directly and complete the dedicated form by providing at least the order number, their name, and the email address used for the purchase.
Once the procedure has been completed, the Customer will receive, without undue delay, an acknowledgement of receipt by email indicating the date and time the withdrawal request was submitted.
10. Return of Products
After exercising the right of withdrawal, the Customer must return the products within the period provided by the applicable legislation to the following address:

Returned products must be:
- unused and undamaged;
- complete with their original packaging;
- properly packed;
- accompanied, where possible, by the documentation received.
Return shipping costs are generally borne by the Customer unless the return is due to the Seller’s error or because the product delivered was incorrect, defective or damaged.
11. Refunds
Once the returned products have been received and inspected, the Seller will issue the refund within the timeframe established by applicable law.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
The Seller may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or until the Customer provides proof that they have been shipped back, whichever occurs first.
12. Privacy
The Customer’s personal data are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Italian legislation.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law.
For contracts concluded with consumers, jurisdiction shall lie with the court of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile, where provided by law.
For disputes involving customers who do not qualify as consumers, the Court of Perugia shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
