Characteristic extra virgin olive oil can be bought in the Villa Val D’Olivi. This oil is a DOP product (Denominazione d’Origine Protetta) and is produced from our own olive trees. The olives, of the Moraiolo cultivar, are hand picked using the method known as ‘brucatura’ and the oil is then extracted from the olives on the same day by cold pressing. The resulting oil has an unmistakable aroma and flavour.
Among the other typical local products you will find lentils, a variety of other pulses, fruit and vegetables.
